Jennifer Bettis, LMFT

Jen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She works for Life Steps Counseling and has been sub-contracted with Endeavor Place, LLC since 2006. Jen graduated from SCSU in 2004 with a master's Degree in Counseling and a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has 5 years of experience working with families and specializes in working with families affected by addiction. She also specializes in working with youth struggling with Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and Reactive Attachment Disorder.

Family Visitation is on Sundays from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Individual and family therapy sessions are offered by Life Steps Counseling service and is billed out through medical insurance. Family therapy services include diagnostic assessments, group therapy, individual therapy and family therapy on a weekly basis. The purpose of family therapy is to create opportunities for the family system to heal and change. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to engage in the recovery process, and to participate in counseling and education sessions aimed at ensuring that a youth in residential treatment will benefit from on-going support systems after completing our program.
